New Red Dragon Exclusive Battery and USB Charger Released Today
Our mission of continuous improvement has reached another milestone. We are very proud to announce that today we are releasing our latest version of the Red Dragon Mini Electronic Cigarette. The battery may look similar when compared to our older model but the difference is in the electronics inside.
As we have learned, the battery and the USB charger work hand-in-hand. In the old days, a bad USB charger could wreck a new battery. Or, a bad battery could wreck a new USB charger. This has plagued the Electronic Cigarettes industry and has challenged many other suppliers since the beginning.
This new, highly engineered, high quality electronic battery is designed to hold a charge longer, last longer and provide more consistent results.
Our new battery and USB charger set is now quite different from our older model. The charging profile of our new USB charger is now matched with the requirements of the new battery. We have found this combination to be the key to increase the longevity of the electronic components.
Some of the differences are:
- The new Battery and its matching new USB charger can only be used together and neither will work with Red Dragon batteries and USB chargers from kits that were purchased prior to October 11, 2009.
- The new battery can be identified by looking at the glowing tip. It is a darker grey color than our previous battery which is a lighter grey color.
- The new USB charger can be distinguished from the previous USB charger by the construction and by looking at the label on the back. The new USB charger is slightly bigger and has a case that is squarer rather than round. The label on the back of the previous USB charger is Silver where the new charger has a Black label.
- Unlike our previous battery, the tip of the new battery will light up during charging. The light will go out after the battery is fully charged.
- The new batteries will still work with our previous cartridges and wall chargers but again, they will not work with old USB chargers or Batteries. You will find that the new battery-USB charger set will charge faster, work more consistently and last longer!
